The two-time Oscar winner opens up about joining the True Detective family and shares why she's happier than ever

Jodie Foster is the first to admit she wouldn’t make a very good detective in real life. “I’m really far-sighted and I don’t notice anything,” confesses the actress and director. “So you could change your shirt or you could put on a moustache and I’d just be like, ‘Oh, OK.’”

Of course, that’s not quite the case for onscreen Jodie. She has solved crimes on more than one occasion – first as FBI cadet Clarice Starling in The Silence of the Lambs (her second Academy Award-winning performance) and now, 32 years later, as police chief Liz Danvers in the fourth season of True Detective.
