From Hollywood to Buckingham Palace, tributes flooded in after Dame Jane Goodall's death of natural causes on Oct. 1. She was 91.

“You are my hero,” Leonardo DiCaprio wrote in tribute to the renowned British conservationist and primatologist.

“The world has lost an extraordinary voice,” said the Prince of Wales, adding that Jane “inspired me and countless others to work to protect our planet.”

Prince Harry and Meghan shared a particularly touching tribute, calling her a “visionary” and personal friend: “She held our son, Archie, when he was first born and showered love and care to those who were privileged to know her.”
