Inspired by her lifelong love of the game and having grown up watching the iconic grass tournament, Kate, 41, was thrilled to go head-to-head with the retired eight-time Wimbledon champion, smoothly hitting the ball past his head. “I think it was on the line!” said a clearly impressed Roger, 41.

As well as showing off her oncourt prowess, Kate was happy to learn a few new tennis skills as a ballgirl showed her the best way to throw the ball to players.
