London-born Mica Paris was 19 when her debut album, So Good, was released in 1988. Hit singles included My One Temptation and Where Is the Love. It was followed by seven further studio albums, the most recent being Gospel in 2020. She has hosted programmes on BBC Radio 2 and the Channel 4 documentary The Gospel of Gospel, and has also starred in two West End shows.

In 2020, Mica was made an MBE for her services to music, entertainment and charity. She is an ambassador for The Amy Winehouse Foundation and supports music, homelessness and rape charities. Mica lives in south London and has two daughters, Monet and Russia-Mae.
