The Princess of Wales has described love as “the first and most essential bond” that helps to shape who we become.

Making her first public speech for almost two years, after receiving treatment for cancer, Kate urged business leaders to prioritise “time and tenderness” and invest in early childhood - a topic that has become a cornerstone of her work.

She used a weaving metaphor to describe how the 80 business leaders who had gathered for the Future Workforce Summit in London could help to create the fabric for a better society.
