BUGGED OUT BY HER CREEPY-CRAWLY CO-STARS DAISY RIDLEY ON BEING COVERED WITH INSECTS FOR HER LATEST ROLE AND WHY SHE EMBRACES THE 'STAR WARS' BUZZ

She’d never had herself down as the squeamish kind, but one scene in her latest film, Sometimes I Think About Dying, almost made Daisy Ridley physically sick.

“The bugs,” says the actress with a shudder. “I actually thought I was okay with them and then we shot that scene.”

Daisy, 32, plays introverted office worker Fran, who daydreams about how she might die, imagining snakes or insects crawling over her.

“The [scene] with ants crawling on my hand was fine,” she says. “But then we did one where I am literally covered in bugs – real bugs – and I couldn’t move. I was gagging, it was that horrible.”

It’s perhaps surprising, then, that Daisy uses the words “uplifting” and “positive” to describe the movie.
