His WWE wrestling caretation have earned him a reputation as a tough guy, but Dwayne "The Rock Johnson is a big softie underneath, especially when it comes to his daughters.

The actor, who is reprising his role as demigod Maui in the sequel to Disney's animated musical adventure film Moana, tells us how excited Jasmine, eight, and six-yearold Tiana were to visit the studio.

And his wife Lauren Hashian revealed on Instagram last week that their children even voiced their own characters for the film.

Dwayne, 52, also has an older daughter from his first marriage: Simone, 23, a professional wrestler known as Ava Raine.

The star made his mark in Hollywood with roles in The Mummy Returns, Baywatch and the Jumanji franchise, but says this role is special to him because it reflects his Samoan heritage.

Dwayne, your youngest daughter was a huge fan of the first film. What does she think about her dad returning as Maui?

"She's excited. Both my little girls are, actually. It was great because they got to sit in on some of my voiceover sessions for this one.

"They already know some of the songs. They're super-excited to see the whole thing. I'm so excited to share it with them.
