TV chatterbox Kelly Ripa has revealed the terrible torment hiding behind her perky smile - she's been in therapy to beat devastating anxiety that triggers breakdowns of uncontrollable weeping for no apparent reason.

The bubbly 53-year-old star's been seeing a shrink to treat crippling anxiety for 13 years but the disorder still triggers bizarre and inappropriate behavior that's made life hell and affected her marriage to Live! co-host Mark Consuelos, spies say. 

"You wouldn't know it but Kelly's a bundle of nerves," says a Hollywood insider. "Her anxiety can be crippling and it's taken everything she's got to get past it! Fortunately, she has her loyal husband who's stood by her all these years and been sympathetic.'
