WHEN LAALO WAS made, we had no idea so much would unfold. We knew it would reach people but we did not expect it to become this big.

I AM GENUINELY overwhelmed by the film’s super success. As I’ve said before, I always believed audiences would connect with a good, honest story but the scale of love Laalo has received has truly surprised and humbled me.

THE BEST COMPLIMENT I received for Laalo came from someone who told me, “We came to watch a Gujarati film for the first ten minutes, and then I forgot I was watching a Gujarati film.” For me, that was the highest praise.
