For this issue's prompts, we're going to be exploring how way that you write a story. To begin, set a timer for 20 minutes and free write or use one of the following prompts to write a flash piece or the start of a longer story.

1. Write a story that includes the line "We're just too different." 

2. Start your story with a security alarm going off.

3. Write about a magical object that may or may not work.

Now that you've written for 20 minutes, you have your base story.
