The Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) has announced the results of industry trials validating Wi-Fi 7’s performance in enterprise scenarios, revealing improvements in speed, latency, and reliability across high-density, real-world environments.
Conducted in collaboration with AT&T, CommScope’s RUCKUS Networks, and Intel, the trials evaluated Wi-Fi 7's capabilities in comparison to Wi-Fi 6E across the 5 GHz and 6 GHz frequency bands. The tests were held in live enterprise environments to assess rate versus range performance, focusing on throughput, latency, and signal efficiency.
