The festivities commenced with a striking march past by the institute's cadets, a display of discipline, respect, and unity among the future seafarers. The subsequent proceedings unfolded in the auditorium, where the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor, Head of the Institute, Principal, Vice-principal, and HOD engineering formally inaugurated the event by the traditional lighting the lamp with the serene Saraswati Vandana being played in the background.
