Internationally UnusualThe Cannes Chapter: A Global Celebration
by The Wedding Square
The Wedding Square—an experiential bespoke design and planning company founded by Nitin Mathur, Shweta Mehta, Savita Gadhiok, and Ashim Aggarwal—is renowned for crafting deeply personalized and luxurious weddings worldwide. Their recent creation for Sarina Vaswani and Lavine Hemlani in Cannes fused Sindhi traditions with the elegance of the French Riviera.
From a Riviera-inspired welcome dinner at Carlton Beach Club, awash in candlelight and gold accents, to a bohemian Mehndi lunch at Vilebrequin La Plage, to a theatrical sangeet at Palm Beach featuring Sukhbir and Guru Randhawa, every moment was a masterclass in detail. The celebrations culminated in a white-on-white wedding at Château Les Croix, where minimalist design met grandeur through cloudlike drapes, couture bows, and tonal florals—ending with performances by Sonu Nigam and Jason Derulo.
