DFCCIL conducts trial train run, JNPT-Vaitarna section nears commissioning

DFCCIL achieved a remarkable milestone by successfully conducting the trial run of a goods train hauled by a diesel locomotive from New Saphale (DFCCIL) DFC Ch.

107.0 to IR Kharbao Station, DFC Ch. 67.0, a distance of approximately 40 km.

This marks the first movement on the newly constructed DFCCIL track of the JNPT-Vaitarna Section under the CGM/Mumbai Unit of DFCCIL, thereby establishing a vital connectivity with Central Railway.
