ANOTHER PANDEMIC LIKE COVID? - HMPV

Covid-19 - I'm sure everyone have got enough memories with this term.

It forced us to go through one of the most tough times of our lives. It showed us the world in a different perspective. We were scared of everything, scared to touch, scared to breathe and were scared for our lives. Just as we are recovering from it, and are trying to let go of it, a new virus has emerged in to the market, again.

HMPV, short for Human MetaPneumoVirus, has emerged in China, again. I wonder what's happening in China. Rumours of school closures in the Chinese city of Wuhan, and Beijing's acknowledgement of a surge in cases of human metapneumovirus (HMPV), have prompted understandable concern.

Yet, while some people have drawn comparisons with the early days of COVID-19, human metapneumovirus is not a new virus, and is unlikely to trigger the next pandemic.
