Fortune India celebrated the achievements of young business leaders who are changing the face of India's economy with their ideas, enterprise and drive at the Fortune India 40 Under 40 Awards in Bengaluru on October 6.
-

AS THE WORLD embraced digital, young Indian entrepreneurs and business leaders came up with products and services across new industries, including drones, swappable batteries, aerospace, communications, education and sustainable hospitality. Of the 40 winners of the Fortune India 40 Under 40 Awards, nine were business leaders from legacy companies who made a difference in FY23. Chief guest N.R. Narayana Murthy, founder, Infosys and one of India’s most iconic entrepreneurs who himself started Infosys at 35 years of age, awarded the winners.
The evening kicked off with a panel discussion followed by a fireside chat on ‘Building India’s Decacorns’, which was moderated by Nithin Kamath, founder and CEO, Zerodha. His copanelists were N.R. Narayana Murthy and Rajeev Gowda, vice chairman, State Institution for Transformation of Karnataka (SITK), the state’s equivalent of the Niti Aayog.
