Two Wharton MBAs, Two IIT degrees, One enduring vision, and Infinite trust - that’s how Suma and Jay Dash like to describe themselves. It is rare to come across two people with an equally diverse and decorated profile in Odisha. Both completed their early schooling in Odisha, and have since studied, worked, lived, and travelled across the globe. With extensive international exposures in the US and in Europe, Jay and Suma have a big bag of experiences that guide them in starting and running several entrepreneurial ventures

Jay and Suma are relatively new to the business scene in Odisha - having returned from the US a little over a year ago. At the peak of Covid, the couple took a momentous decision to quit a comfortable American life and return to work in their homeland instead. They had pursued successful professional careers in Management Consulting with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in the US, Investment Banking for Lehman Brothers and Nomura in London, Health AI development with Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Corporate Strategy in Silicon Valley. “We felt that our destiny ultimately lay back home. We decided that we wanted to bring the best of everything that we had seen and experienced - in healthcare and in life – to here in Odisha. Since then, we have thrown ourselves headfast into guiding the Ashwini Group as hands-on Directors,” share the young entrepreneurs.
