INDIA

The country's largest homegrown private equity firm, ChrysCapital, raised its tenth fund in November; at $2.2 billion, it's the biggest India-focused fund of its kind. Forbes India tells the tale of the 26-year-old company, which started in venture capital before pivoting to private equity. It has raised $8.5 billion from both Indian investors and foreign funds, such as Adams Street Partners of the U.S. and Canada's Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. The firm has invested nearly $6 billion into more than 110 companies, including Bajaj Auto Finance and Mahindra Finance, and realized returns of $7.8 billion.

AUSTRALIA

The four high-wattage members who headlined Forbes Australia's 2025 Under 30 list include (from left) Grace Toombs, 23, founder of women-focused at-home health care screening firm June Health; 23-year-old basketball star Josh Giddey, whose four-year, $100 million contract with the NBA's Chicago Bulls makes him Australia's highest-paid athlete; 25-year-old actress Milly Alcock, who recently starred in HBO's House of the Dragon and the Netflix miniseries Sirens; and sprinter Gout Gout, who at 18 is the record holder in Oceania for 200 meters (20.02 seconds).
