It started when the globetrotting DJ finished the Miami Half Marathon four years ago and wandered into storied Club Space, still pumping from the night before. Inside, runners fresh off the course and riding a post-race high were dancing like it was peak club hour. “The state of mind was incredible,” Diplo—aka Wes Pentz—says. “Everyone was clearheaded, happy, fully present. I kept thinking, ‘This is a moment.’ I wanted to recapture that.”
