In a move towards bolstering domestic air connectivity, Guwahati-based JettWings Airways announced that it has received approval for flight service across 12 sectors in the Northeast, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar.

The carrier is dubbed as the first airline from the northeast region that aims to strengthen air connectivity in rugged terrain, which has limited road infrastructure.
The newest entrant in the Indian aviation sector will connect the airports at Pakyong, Guwahati, Cooch Behar, Kushinagar, Gaya, Bareilly, Kanpur, and Agra under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) – UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik)
