A SYMPHONY IN CIRCLES

April 2025

In a world where office spaces are often confined to rigid structures, a new paradigm emerges, SGA+IKS crafts a workspace where curves replace corners, and movement flows effortlessly through every element.

A SYMPHONY IN CIRCLES

In the heart of a bustling metropolis, where skyscrapers punctuate the horizon and offices are often confined to rigid, rectangular boxes, a 500 sq. ft. workspace dares to defy convention. Designed by SGA+IKS, this office is a celebration of fluidity, a poetic dance of curves that weave through every inch of its design. It is not just a workplace—it is a testament to how unconventional architecture can shape an environment that fosters creativity, communication, and calmness.

The client's vision was clear: they sought an office that broke away from the monotony of standard layouts and exuded vibrancy, dynamism, and functionality. Given the limited square footage and an extensive list of requirements, the designers embraced an innovative circular layout that not only maximised space utilisation but also infused the office with a sense of openness and continuity. The absence of sharp corners softens the space, creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere that encourages free-flowing ideas and collaboration.
