WHILE INDIA'S broadband services revenue is projected to reach $116.6 billion by 2030, the country's ISP ecosystem is at a critical inflection point—reflecting an urgent need to reimagine infrastructure and service delivery to meet surging demand.
To explore the challenges and practical ways forward, CIO&Leader and Ciena hosted a round table discussion on April 23, 2025 in New Delhi, titled "Future-Proofing ISP Networks: Scaling for the Next Wave of Digital Demand." Participating in the discussion were senior leaders and CxOs from mid-sized ISPs across the NCR region, who shared strategies, challenges, and innovations for network scalability and operational resilience.
Speaking at the session, industry veterans emphasized the growing imperative for collaborating on infrastructure deployment, creating scalable networks, and delivering differentiated services to meet changing customer needs. From using AI and integrating satellite tech, to leveraging policy incentives, the discussion touched on a variety of strategies to build future-ready, cost-efficient ISP networks.
