Porsche celebrates a half-century of its 911 Turbo with a limited-editon model

THE FIRST turbocharged Porsche was unveiled in 1974. Over the last five decades, the 911 Turbo has become an automotive icon and remains the benchmark for supercar performance and handling.

To celebrate the anniversary, Porsche has just launched a 50 Years edition. The ultimate 911 is based on the Turbo S model, in production since 2019 and powered by a rear-mounted, twin-turbo 3.7-liter engine.
