Eight years ago, radiologist-entrepreneur Dr Amit Kharat and technologist-turned-entrepreneur Ajit Patil came together with a clear mission- to make radiology more accurate, affordable, and accessible.

What started in Pune as a collaboration between deep clinical insight and technology has grown into DeepTek-a radiology AI company serving hospitals and programmes across India and several international markets.

FY 2023-24 marked an important phase in that journey, with the company achieving a set of defining milestones. At the centre of these achievements is DeepTek's selection, in partnership with NTT DATA, to power Singapore's national radiology AI platform (AI Medical Imaging Platform for Singapore Public Healthcare (AimSG). This initiative brings AI into routine radiology workflows across public hospitals, supporting radiologists with advanced decision-support tools while meeting stringent clinical, regulatory, and data-security standards. It confirms that an India-born company can architect and deliver national-scale AI infrastructure for one of the world's most advanced healthcare systems.
