It is quite incredible to see things of interest happen with the blessings of the divine trio

Whenever you do anything, do it with your whole heart concentrated on it.” It is worthwhile to highlight a few events that testify to the blessings of the Divine Trio.

Sri Ramakrishna and his blessings

While researching the history of the coal industry in India, the author also studied the extension of the railway line for transporting coal from the Raniganj coal field. Considering the operation of the Eastern India Railway (EIR) up to Sitarampur Rail Station, the author speculated in an assembly in Dishergarh (near Asansol) that Sri Ramakrishna might have alighted at Sitarampur Rail Station on his journey to Deoghar.

imageInitially, this statement was based on assumption and lacked reliable references. Despite valiant efforts, finding evidence to support this claim was unsuccessful. However, a few years later, Sri Kalidas Sarkar, the significant founder of Sanctoria-Dishergarh Vivekananda Yuba Mahamandali, referenced an article in Udbodhon paper that addressed this topic. A well-researched work by the late revered Swami Pravananda, in his article “Thakur Ramakrishna’s Pilgrimage to Varanasi,” confirmed that Thakur Sri Ramakrishna indeed disembarked at Sitarampur Rail Station on January 27, 1868, during his journey to Deoghar. This revelation brought great relief and joy.
