India & Brazil should enhance value addition and control post-harvest losses: Rupala

Carlos Favaro, Brazil’s Minister of Agriculture and Livestock recently stated that cooperative production in agriculture can address the pressing food-related issues in the world. Speaking at the seminar on ‘Perspectives and the Future of India-Brazil Relations in the Agribusiness Sector’ in Delhi on November 2, Favaro said cooperative production and marketing in the agri sector can help address the global food trade crisis. Favaro was leading a ministerial delegation with over 30 leading institutions and companies from the agriculture sector. A day before the seminar he had a meeting with Shobha Karandlaje, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare.
