Tucked amidst a dense urban fabric, this southwest-facing house is a sophisticated manifestation of contextual and climate-responsive modern design. The home embraces its orientation with a clever façade design that strikes a balance between aesthetic appeal and environmental sustainability.

With the sun's harshest rays reaching the structure in the second half of the day, the architects designed a system of sliding and folding louvred screens to serve as both a shading strategy and a distinctive visual aspect of the building's identity.

The colour scheme is purposefully designed to convey both warmth and sophistication. Earthy tones dominate the façade, with natural wood treatments that contrast wonderfully with soft concrete-textured surfaces and a dark metal frame. The materials used convey a sense of calm resilience while complementing the lush flora that surrounds the place.
