Scott Harrison looks ahead to the third UKWA Slalom event of the season, which will take place in Weymouth between 5th-6th October.
The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed a slalom event at Stokes Bay on 7th/8th September, well, due to other organisations setting their calendars after ours we were going to clash with the IFCA Slalom Fin World Championships at Hvide Sande in Denmark, and closer to home, the Round Hayling Challenge, so we have moved this event to the October 26th/27th. It’s at the same venue, Stokes Bay Sailing Club, situated in between Portsmouth and Southampton, and It’s going to be EPIC! I can’t reveal all of the details at this stage, but, if you like windsurfing, and, or winging you need to save the date. Massive value, massive fun and super easy to do is all I’m allowed to say for now. Keep your eyes peeled on the socials and get October’s issue of Windsurf ASAP to find out more, we will be capping entries, so, don’t miss out! Before that we have round three of the British Slalom Championships in Portland Harbour, Weymouth. This is a wonderfully easy place to windsurf and wing with nearly all wind directions producing flat water,
