PHILIP STEVENS sent us this photo of his Fairline Targa 43, Petty Cash, taken in Punta Negra, Mallorca. Wrapped in silver after the original blue gelcoat started to fade, it now looks as good as new. Not that it's stopped him from recently upgrading to an even newer Fairline Targa 45!

BLUEBIRD RETURNS

I thought your readers might like to know that the legendary hydroplane, Bluebird K7, will be returning to Ullswater in Cumbria on 23 July to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Donald Campbell's first world water speed record.

In 1955 people crowded the shore of Ullswater to see Bluebird and Donald reach an unprecedented speed of 202.32mph, beating the previous record of 178.49mph set by Stanley Sayres.
