We take a trip down memory lane to talk about PowerTrip360, one of our most epic roadtrips on two of the fastest motorcycles of the time.

REVISITING XBHP POWERTRIP

XBHP’S story started in 2001 as a single web page. Internet was dial-up and social media was people gathering in parks. Despite the hurdles, that single web page was a dream. A dream that we worked towards and it resulted in around 10,000 members by 2003. Fast forward to today and xBhp is India’s largest and most popular lifestyle motorcycling platform and community (since 2002) with a print magazine (since 2010).

Community is an important aspect of xBhp but so are motorcycles, travelling, and bringing to you the best possible content we can. To that end, we have travelled almost ceaselessly. We have ridden some of the best motorcycles, driven some of the best cars, and covered more than 60 countries. That is a lot of memories, all of them stored away, some in the thick of it and some thin. Though they’ll all stick around, PowerTrip360 is one of the few that are the most vivid.

Imagine covering more than 20,000 km around Australia on two of the fastest motorcycles at the time; the mighty Kawasaki Ninja H2 and the venerable Ducati Panigale 1299, the final edition of it to add to the occasion. With both our machines powered by Castrol POWER1, our trusted ally in most of our memorable roadtrips, we were ready to traverse the famed down-under and everything that this continent had to offer.

Senegal

Senegal is best known for the Paris Dakar rally. But it has much more to that. Our brief sojourn in this country with the TVS Apache mo-torcycles showed us some amazing sights and history. The photo on this page shows a Baobab tree, which is also the national symbol of the country. They have thick water storing trunks and have immense size and long lifespans often reaching thousands of years.
