The Mahindra Thar RWD is perfect for those who spend their time in the urban jungle. We speak to one such happy customer to find out more.
-
When you think of the Mahindra Thar, things like extreme off-road capabilities and ruggedness come to mind. And now, with the introduction of the rear-wheel drive variants of the Thar, Mahindra has opened up the SUV to a whole new section of buyers - those who have to struggle with traffic and office commutes on a daily basis. For such buyers, it's more about navigating the city rather than excelling on offroad terrain and trails - something the Thar is well known for.
To find out how it fits into the lifestyle of modern urban citizens, we speak to Eduarda Linda who is an architect based out of Delhi. Her profession requires her to be both out in the field and inside her office, but she doesn't let anything interfere with her aim to live a healthy lifestyle.
NEW WINE, OLD BOTTLE
Eduarda hails from Brazil, renowned worldwide for its automobile culture. So, once in India, Eduarda not just wanted a car to do the required job but also something that could make a statement and expresses her personality. Being a lover of classic SUVs that are large in size and have that iconic boxy shape, her first choice was the Mahindra Thar. Now, what she enjoys the most is going on road trips with some good music and visiting the mountains whenever possible. But, then, she can't always be on road trips, so she also wanted a car that's great for the city and can also be used for a quick road trip, should an opportunity presents itself - 'I'm always ready for a road trip,' says Eduarda.
