VinFast underlines its commitment to India with a brand new factory

VinFast, the Vietnamese EV manufacturer that has been making waves in the industry, has entered the Indian market with a bold new plan to achieve dominance. The key aspect of which is, unlike certain others, VinFast setting up a proper manufacturing facility in India. In fact, the carmaker started construction of its full-fledged factory at Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, in February 2024 itself. This massive, 400-acre plant is assembling the VF6 and VF7 for the Indian market to begin with, and will have a capacity of 50,000 units per year initially.
