Now, I've never really liked cars with CVTs. A flat drone from under a bonnet has a special way of getting on my nerves. However, there is something to be said about the seamless nature of a CVT for sure. And it was this smooth and jerk-free experience that made a maiden long drive from Mumbai to Goa and back such a relaxed one in the Maruti Suzuki Victoris. Yes, okay, it's essentially the Grand Vitara underneath the new look, but I have to say that the Victoris does have that all-new feel that a new car must possess.
