The e-LCV segment is a hot segment! To tap into this competitive segment, Euler Motors has commercialised its LCV, the T1250. A notch higher than the Euler HiLoad, its mainstay up until now, the T1250 is positioned as a robust cargo haulier best suited to keep with the urban and semi-urban duty cycles.

After spending time with the T1250, it is clear that this EV is not just another e-LCV. It is a serious challenger to the legacy models out there.

At first glance, it inherits the aesthetics of the HiLoad with the signature styling and looks to build upon it. The front fascia with upgraded exterior lighting, aggressive badging lures the target customer base to its segment-first safety features. It makes a strong and lasting impression with the purposeful stance and the raised eyebrow of the headlamp. The sequential LED head lamps paired with halogen bulbs for the primary beam offer a clear and powerful spread of light for city driving and delivery routes, and although we drove in broad daylight, the claim should hold good. Operators need to vett it in their long-term use for further validation.

The exterior of the T1250 seamlessly blends both the utilitarian streak with contemporary design. In addition to signalling turns, these sequential LED-powered indicators also display the vehicle's realtime charging status. For instance, if the battery is at 50 per cent State of Charge (SoC), the illuminated strip on the indicator will light up to half its total length. As the battery continues to charge, the lit portion of the indicator expands proportionally, providing a quick, visual cue about the charge level, even from a distance. It is a subtle yet clever integration that speaks to Euler's attention to functional design.
