Busworld Southeast Asia is set to build upon two successful exhibitions in 2019 and 2022. With successful editions held at the Jakarta International Expo in Indonesia, it is set to reflect the bus and coach trends with a direct impact on public transportation. Scheduled from May 15-17, 2024, the event has high hopes riding on it. It is expected to tap into the momentum of the Indonesian bus market and its upward trajectory. The exhibits, unique to the region, will draw from the specific requirements led by urbanisation, infrastructural enhancements, environmental concerns, and tourism. Moreover, government-led initiatives are known to be significantly influencing the shift towards more sustainable, cleaner public transport solutions, including electric buses and the Southeast Asian region has held its own with initiatives like the world's largest Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) corridor.
