THE 2025 MIAMI GRAND Prix started off on a high for Mercedes during sprint qualifying, with Kimi Antonelli achieving his first ever pole position, making him the youngest ever pole-sitter in F1 in any race format.

The excitement continued into the sprint race, where colossal rainfall caused Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) to crash into the barriers before the race start, due to which only 19 cars were present for the formation lap that was conducted under the safety car.
