Rovanperä Victorious in Rally Estonia

At the eighth round of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), Kalle Rovanperä won the Rally Estonia for the third time in a row

ON THE INCREDIBLY quick special stages in the country two years earlier, Kalle Rovanperä won the WRC's youngest rally. Following this resounding victory, he moves into a 55-point lead at the top of the championship rankings, putting him one step closer to winning back-to-back world championships.

In the four-day gravel road competition, the 22-year-old Finn finished 52.7 seconds clear of Hyundai i20 N rival Thierry Neuville, who had taken the lead following first loop. Later on in the day, he took over first place and on second day, he dominated with a run of nine straight fastest timings.
