BMW Sixth-gen E-motor Production Begins

THE BMW GROUP PLANT STEYR HAS BEGUN series production of the electric engine for the Neue Klasse.

The e-engine for the sixth generation of BMW eDrive is the first fully electric drive train to be produced at the Steyr location in Austria. From there, it will be shipped throughout the production network, providing the drive train for the Neue Klasse.
