No, we are not talking about exercising, it’s about experiencing the Tata Harrier.ev at the Buddh International Circuit with some interesting activities
IN TODAY'S DAY AND AGE,sport utility vehicles (SUV) in India have largely veered towards flair, flashy bits, and form over sensible function. It’s one thing to talk, but to successfully prove that it isn’t mere talk is impressive. That's why Tata Motors invited us to the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Noida that hosted India’s first ever Formula 1 and MotoGP races to showcase the capabilities of their newest flagship electric vehicle (EV) offering, the Tata Harrier.ev. Aptly dubbed “Quad Day”, a reference to the Tata Harrier.ev’s all-wheel drivetrain called “Quad Wheel Drive”, we had a variety of curated activities to experience its onand off-road potential. Quad Day was split among four zones: Precision, Off-road, Performance, and Tech.
First up was the Precision Zone where we were treated to some interesting stunts consisting of synchronised slalom trains and J-turns executed to perfection. A tablecloth pull was done without causing a mess on the table. The other cool bit was the electric SUV pulling along a WhAP 8x8 combat vehicle from Tata Advanced Systems effortlessly, showcasing how effective the 504 Nm of torque from the Harrier.ev's dual-electric motor setup is.
