THE BENGALURU-BASED EV START-UP ULTRAVIOLETTE HAS LAUNCHED its latest bike, the X47 Crossover, at an introductory price of Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Positioned as a versatile electric crossover, the X47 packs a 30-kw/40.2-hp permanent magnet AC motor that delivers 100 Nm of peak torque and propels the bike from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.7 seconds, taking it all the way up to a speed of 145 km/h. The X47 Crossover comes with the option of a 7.1-kWh or a 10.3-kWh battery, promising an IDC range of 211 km and 323 km, respectively.
