Ducati Multistrada V4 RS and Diavel V4 RS Bat Out of Hell

Meet the new Ducati Diavel RS, with an engine directly taken from the Panigale V4. Out goes the 1,158-cc V4 Granturismo engine and in comes the 1,103-cc Desmosedici Stradale unit. The result? 182 hp at 11,750 rpm and 120 Nm at 9,500 rpm. So, yes, power is up by 14 hp, though peak torque is actually down by six Nm compared to the standard Diavel V4. But that's okay, because it also weighs three kilograms less, and when we're talking of such rarefied machines, three kilos can mean a lot.
