At first glance, the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel doesn't shout about change. It wears the same sharp fairing, the same tidy proportions, and the same restrained sportiness that have defined the SF 250 since day one. And that's deliberate. Suzuki isn't trying to distract you with visual drama because the real story lives inside the engine, and more importantly, inside the fuel tank. This motorcycle is less about instant thrills and more about long-term thinking, which, in today's motorcycling landscape, is a refreshing place to start. Flex fuel technology is often misunderstood as a simple badge exercise. In reality, making an engine capable of running on fuels ranging from standard petrol to high ethanol blends, up to E85 in this case, requires serious mechanical and electronic re-engineering. Ethanol behaves very differently from petrol. It burns cooler, carries a higher-octane rating, attracts moisture more easily, and is more corrosive to conventional fuel system components. Simply pouring ethanol into a regular engine isn't an option, and Suzuki has treated that fact with the respect it deserves.
