The joint venture between MG Motor India and JSW Group has been a long time coming, but it's finally here. SAlC-owned MG has laid out a plan for the future. Abhinav Jakhar brings you all the details
MG Motor India has officially announced its joint venture with the JSW Group. The JV, which is called JSW MG Motor India, will primarily focus on bringing new energy vehicles to India. It will concentrate on creating a robust EV ecosystem, as it plans to introduce a number of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids in India. Sajjan Jindal, Chairman of the JSW Group, stated that post September 2024, the company will introduce new models every 3-6 months. In fact, two of them are set to arrive within this year.
