Hero MotoCorp has launched a new 125cc variant in the market to take on the executive commuter segment. But does it pack in the X factor?

Fusing the executive with the sporty

A quick glance at Hero MotoCorp's portfolio reveals no shortage of 125cc motorcycles. The lineup already includes the Xtreme 125R, Glamour, Super Splendor XTEC, and even the Glamour XTEC. So, was there really a need for yet another 125cc variant? Hero certainly believes so. The question is – what sets this one apart? Let's find out.

The Glamour in general is an executive 125cc offering. A simple motorcycle in every sense. The Glamour X then fuses the executive with the sporty theme. It comes with a sporty front fairing that houses all-LED lighting. There are LED blinkers as well. In profile, one can spot the large tank complete with shrouds which adds mass to the design. Fuel tank capacity is also a rather respectable 10 litres and this should ensure that one can traverse hundreds of kilometers on a tank full. The side and real panels also infuse sportiness and so does the LED tail light. Overall, the Glamour X sure looks and feels like a sporty executive commuter.
