ID.2, VW's Polo successor, caught on first track test

AE YOU'RE looking at the new Polosized Volkswagen ID.2, which has been spied testing for the first time on Germany's Nürburgring race circuit.
Despite being clothed in a shortened ID.3 body, the new ID.2 will use a new MEB Entry architecture. An optimised version of the normal MEB platform, this will be more versatile, and also support front-motor powertrains as opposed to the ID.3's rear-motor layout.
