First spy shots reveal racy Vauxhall supermini will get aggressive looks to go with high performance

NEW spy shots have revealed fresh details about the Vauxhall Corsa GSE, a hot electric supermini with as much power as an R34 Nissan GT-R. It’s no secret that Vauxhall has plans to fit the Corsa with a high-performance BEV powertrain, but these new images give a clearer idea of just how racy this new car will be. The big news is that this prototype doesn't just feature bigger wheels — 19 inches in this case — but also larger axles and flared wheelarches to house them. This suggests the GSE will feature bespoke front wings and extended rear wheelarches, dramatically changing the look over standard Corsa models.

These images also reveal that the reshaped front and rear bumpers will get more aggressive design elements that could be finished in a contrasting black. While these flourishes might channel the previous Corsa VXR, the GSE's powertrain looks to the future.
