OFF-ROAD FOCUSSED ZR2 JOINS SILVERADO RANGE

GMSV has added the more offroad-focused ZR2 model of the Silverado 1500 pickup to its 2023 Australian range of vehicles. The ZR2 joins the LTZ in the brand’s local line-up and will become the highest-priced variant at $124,000 plus on-road costs. The Silverado LTZ remains at $121,000 but unfortunately, the entry-level Trail Boss which sold for $106,000 and was undoubtedly the model best suited to Australian road conditions, has been discontinued.

The ZR2 will become the best model for local roads, you’ll just have to pay more now to get in to it. This is because the ZR2 rides on 18-inch wheels with 33-inch mud-terrain tyres compared to the LTZ’s 20s and low-profile rubber which don’t like our rough roads.
