SAFIA WOODWARD put the finishing touches to her preparation for Bicton CCI2*-L with victory in novice section A on Isla Macdonald's Dennistown Diego.

“It was a well-timed win as Diego should have won last time out at South of England but I got some very embarrassing speeding points on the cross-country, so I'm glad I’ve had the chance to put that right!” smiled the 25-year-old, who has been riding the 13-year-old gelding this season for his owner.
