IN A REMOTE CORNER OF ANTARCTICA, a group of around 100 killer whales has developed an extraordinary method of hunting, known as wave-washing.
Swimming together, they create powerful waves that wash their seal prey off floating ice. The behaviour was filmed for the 2011 BBC One series Frozen Planet, and again, this time from the air, for Frozen Planet II.
