Future of our Nations Cup hangs in the balance

As H&H went to press, the FEI was deciding whether or not Hickstead would host the competition from next year
THE future of the Hickstead Nations Cup leg hung in the balance as H&H went to press, days after Britain's historic win.
The FEI was due to decide on Monday (31 July) which venues would run legs from 2024 until 2027, in a series that will have a new name and new format.
The FEI confirmed in June that 18 organisers from Europe, North America and the Middle East had submitted bids to host one of the five qualifiers and final in the new League of Nations.
One of those that submitted bids was Hickstead, which has hosted the British Nations Cup leg since 1929, but the decision had not been confirmed as H&H went to press.
